- This extension is enabled by default on Wikia.
In addition to getting a random page in a namespace, there is an extension enabled by default on Wikia that lets you make special links to choose a random page from a category
Usage[]
The page to do this is Special:Randomincategory
The category name just goes at the end for links, like Special:Randomincategory/Quest
Additionally, unlike Special:Random, you can go to the page on its own, and get a simple form to type in a category name manually. It will be listed in the "Redirecting" section on Special:SpecialPages, next to Special:Random.
